Daedalia, sorry I haven't been active on this board lately. Chemo has been all I've been keeping up with since July. I am so sorry you lost your sister to this dreadful disease. It is wonderful that you stay involved with the Society and I know they appreciate it. The closest one to me is about 4 hrs away.

Take care, fran

Hi. I'm new. I had been reluctant to join because it's still very hard for me to talk about my sister and remember everything she went through. This is still one of the few things that can bring me to tears every time I think about it. She had leukemia, had two T-cell transplants, and died in December 2008 due to graft vs. host disease after the second transplant. I've stayed involved with the Society by participating in the walks and making donations; I'm also a registered donor.
