Hi Pedley Welcome to TMW! I can't wait until we get to share our gardening experiences. It's like we are all going to have a baby, I love to watch a garden grow and get all the wonderful advice to making it a success. I'm going to make shish kabobs, fresh salsa, grilled eggplant, and many more.

PEDLEYFIGG welcome to the Mediterranean Way team. I am a single person also and am a newbie at gardening. I just planted quite a few veggies and I finally saw my first eggplant flower and some cherry tomatoes. I get excited when I see blooms coming in.

I hope you feel comfy and get some benefits from TMW.

Welcome Pedley, and thank you for the SparkGoodie tomato! :~)

Kent looks very pretty.

I am a single female, 41, and I have a 20-year-old son. He recently moved back in with me and has started taking classes in college, part time. When he moved home, he brought with him a cat and a fish.

I just bought a house this year and it has a big yard with lots of wilderness nearby. Vegetable gardening seems pointless until I can make sure I have ways of keeping the deer, possum, groundhog, chipmunks, and bunnies away from it.

I was not raised on seafood, but I started enjoying it about ten years ago.

Welcome to Spark and to the team!!

I am a single person with dogs for kids. I also struggle financially on one income. Everyone is now-a-days. I am not a fish person, so it is hard to fit something in that is fish. Tuna is about it. Maybe perch, but then I usually have to have it battered, fried, and lots of tartar sauce.

I have a small garden that didn't do very well last year, because I have a dog that loves veggies and a groundhog that decided to help itself to salad. We'll see what happens this year!

Hello everyone.

I'm a 42yr married mum of one from Canterbury in the UK. Canterbury is a smallish place in the very bottom left of the UK. Canterbury is famous for two things. A cathedral whose Archbishop is the head of the Church of England, so he will probably be marrying Willam and Kate, as previous ones have conducted other Royal weddings. Also as the home town of Orlando Bloom (Pirates of the Carribean).

My DD is 21 and hopefully in the autumn will be embarking on a first law degree. My DH runs a drawing office working in electrical power supply. I used to work in a variety of jobs over the years - normally on phones, but due to depression have been off work for a year and will not be returning in the forseeable future. This is a good thing - I LOVE being at home and although this means it is harder finacially, we can just make ends meet so that's OK.

We have tiny terraced/row house with even smaller garden, think 20 by 30 foot! And the front garden is 20 by 10. So although we like to try and grow as much as possible there is limited space so we have two half plots in local allotments which give us more growing space. We have only taken them on this year so there is a learning curve as to what will and won't grow well here. So this should help enable even fresher fruit and veg.

We do have one major food issue in our house, my DH is allergic to fish and seafood. So that is a real problem on a Med. Diet. so we tend to eat veggie instead of fish.

I am new to Spark and have a considerable amount to lose so I shall spend a lot of time reading and learning for a while.

I've looked and join a few teams here but this one really seems a bit different. Really look forward to getting to know you.
