Hello,
I just started the 28 day bootcamp today because of computer problems. I did the Day 1 workout video, but it didn't show up on my fitness page(I remembered to look for it on the day I joined, and also checked to see if it showed up on today's page), and I don't know where to check off that I did that video. Help!

Hi everyone. I made the best decision in a long time in the beginning of July 2010 when I signed on to SparkPeople. It has been a great experience for me and I have lost almost 80 lbs, 10 of those before joining. Am currently enjoying a level of fitness I haven't experienced in many years and want to up the level a bit. After reading about this challenge and seeing it pop up in so many Spark Pages, have decided to go for it. I'm ready for this challenge.

I joined about 10 days ago and then got sick so - today is a new first day.

Hi everybody. My name is Leslie and I am a 41 year old mother of four. I have been on SP for 7 months now. I started losing on my own before that and have now lost a total of 60 pounds. I joined the Pound for Pound challenge through Biggest Loser and have committed to 38 more pounds by 5/31. I joined the 28 day Bootcamp to jumpstart myself, 'cause in order to lose 38 more pounds in 19 weeks, I gotta get to gettin' here. I am very involved with my children and I run a home day care, so time has been my biggest obstacle (or so I thought.) But I have discovered that I AM my biggest obstacle, and I really just had to commit to wanting this for myself. I started this journey at 267 pounds. I have lost 60 and plan to lose 50 more. I can and will do this. I hope to find more inspiration with people in this bootcamp, as I have really gained a lot through SP Friends I have met along the way. Support is everything. Best of luck to everyone on their journey!

I am new to this today! My name is Sandy and live in a suburb of Wichita, KS.
I have NEVER done anything like this EVER...but I'm in a real unhealthy stage in my life right now and things have got to change! I am 41, mother of 3 and grandma of 1! Stay-at-home babysitter of my granddaughter and VERY sedentary, 99% inside the house alone, lazy, bored, lonely and depressed! I need motivation and inspiration! Hi everyone! My name is Anna and I am from Northwest Ohio. My goal is to lose 40 pounds by the end of June. My class reunion is the 4th of July and I want to be looking better by then. I joined SP in Jan 08 and lost 30 #s the first year, 20 pounds the second year. I gained a few pounds at Christmas that year but I succeeded in taking them off and more for a total of 65 pounds last year. I am doing the Bootcamp and cardio on my bike! Good luck everyone!

Hi everyone my name is Kimie and I am 46. I have belonged to SP since 2007 and did very well but 2 years ago for some unknown reason I found my self gaining weight again after keeping it off for 5 years. I have in that time gained about 40 pounds and I want to get back to my old self. I need a kick in the pants to get moving with exercising so I though why not try this 28 days can't be to bad right? I will be also doing this as I will be going back to college for my second semester on Jan27th, and this is also my first of going to college and I found the first semester very difficult. I am hoping that with getting on the right track eating and exercising It will help my brain think clearly. Guess if you want something bad enough it can be done so I know I want to lose this unwanted weight and be in good shape by the summer so I can enjoy it. Last summer was a nightmare for me I felt and looked awful. I had to wear fat summer cloths and know my cute skinny summer cloths had to sit in the back of my cloths well not this summer. My cute summer cloths will see the sunshine this year.

Hello! My name is Lisa, mother of one 3 year old angel ( lol not!) I'm going to turn 32 on the 23rd of this month and have found my weight creeping up over the years to 146lbs and I am only 5'3". My name is Peggy. I am 35 and live in GA. I've been doing SP since Nov '09 and have lost 37 pounds due to falling off the bandwagon SEVERAL times. I need a good kick in the pants and hope this will help me establish the habit of exercise. I've been maintaing, for the most part, with NO exercise and know that if I'd exercise, the weight would come off much faster. So, as of today, 1/18/2011, no more slacking on the exercise for me!

Hello. I'm Janine. I'm 63. My son is getting married at the end of March. I'd like to lose 15-20 pounds, tone up my muscles (especially those saggy, flabby upper arms) and adopt a more healthy lifestyle (eating and exercise). I'm joining 28-Day Bootcamp challenge to get me started. I enjoy bicycling and walking. I walk my dog about 1 mile twice a day. In the past I have biked the Katy Trail (in 2009 - 175 miles in 5 days), 141 miles across the continental divide in Idaho/Montana in 2008 (although I had to push my bike up the last 3 miles to the top). I'd like to add weight/strength training without having to join a gym. Good luck to each of us! Hey, we are starting on the path to good health habits, pat ourselves on the back!

Hi! My name is Amanda and I'm 30 years old. I joined the 28-day bootcamp to help me with strength training. I'm a runner, but last year was a rough year. I finished up college, I got sick a lot, and I hurt my back really bad so I did not do much running last year. Since I had slacked on exercising I gained some weight back. So far this year I've run about 24 miles (my goal is to run 1000) and I plan on doing a half marathon by the end of te year. I'm good with cardio but I'm awful with strength traiing & in order for me to be a strong runner I have to increase ST. I want to lose at least 15 pounds by spring/summer so I'm hoping this challenge will help me.

Hello, I'M Alliee4 I am 68 years old and joined sparks at 200lbs I've lost 20 lbs gained 5 back and now lost it again. I'm here to make a better me. I have a bad back and diabetes,high blood pressure, high cholesterol, bad heart, and my doctor told me to loose the weight or die. I chose loosing the weight and getting my health back. I am now on day 2 of the 2nd week. My back hurts, my legs are stiff and sore. however I will not quite when I join something I take it to the end. I have to loose another 50 lbs.
