Josi,

After I have surgery on my spine, I will be up and out of this wheelchair and doing my 5Ks again and oh how I loved doing those 5Ks, as it was so much fun.

The support I would like to have from you is the following:

1. If you find a recipe, that's good then send it my way and I will see if I like it (I can tell by the ingredients) and put that into my arsenal.

2. If you run across an exercise that you think I could benefit from, let me know.

3. If we could find an exercise in common and do it at the same time of day, and then give each other feedback, that would be good, also.

4. Hold my feet to the fire and don't let me wiggle out of anything.

5. And last but not least and the most important of all is . . . BE MY FRIEND!

Hello Nancy Jean,

Thank you for your message, very kind of you to offer me your support. I am sorry to read about your health issues and sincerely hope that you are going to overcome these soon. Although you have your fair share of burden to contend with, your optimism and energy do not seem lacking - my respect. It's also great to hear that you are doing fantastically.

I do think that joining forces along the journey to a healthier lifestyle and weight reduction makes good sense. I am sure you would make an excellent guardian angel and motivator! Well, let's try a joint effort and see what we could make of it. Perhaps you'll let me know what kind of support you would like from me.

Josi,

I left SP Land about 2 years ago, because of surgeries and other things, and I chose to leave to keep a keen eye on my rehab process and the doctors. Well, I am back and I've been here about 2 months now, and I am doing FANTASTIC! Now, if it's accountability you're looking for, I am your gal! I will be your emoticon and I will shout emoticon at the top of my lungs to get and keep you motivated. We can partner together and do this together rather than doing this alone. How about it?

I am Josi and I initially joined SparkPeople in August 2016. I had a major setback soon thereafter which left me extremely demoralised.. Well I am back since the beginning of June trying to have another go at it but I am struggling to maintain consistency. I hope that by joining this challenge it will give my lacking motivation a push to do regular exercises again. Best wishes to all of you.
