WOW, Dell and Goat Gal! You're both doing what it takes to get it done, and I LOVE IT! As for me, I did get 2 jogs in today, as we, my mom, dad, brother, and I celebrated my brother's birthday, which is tomorrow, at O'Charley's tonight! I ate until I was satisfied, but when I came home and put it in the tracker, I had almost 700 calories. It was the smashed potatoes, that had the most calories. I had the smashed potatoes, baby green beans, grilled asparagus, and steamed broccoli. It was all very healthy, but I had no idea the potatoes were almost 400 calories for a serving or I would not have ordered them. I did also treat myself, as I brought home a piece of Ooey Gooey Carmel Pie, and it was delicious. With all that I did today, I was still under my caloric intake, but only by His Grace!

I had a great day today. I got on my gazelle. Then went outside pull weeds out my flower then got the hoe and chopped grass out. Stacked the deck with wood. Mopped the kitchen floor. Cleaned out my refrigerator.

I walked 70 minutes, 4 miles yesterday with the dogs. It felt good, even though I had to stop and cough many times. Still not over it, still not sleeping because of all the coughing. But I'm not quitting.

Hey Dell and everyone else that reads this...

Getting my workouts in every day and feeling like I did when I first started years ago, excited, not worried about time, just enjoying it...

Got in 45 minutes of cardio and 65+ minutes of lower body work done today. So grateful and fortunate to have the time and strength to do this.

Hello "Hard to find 10" Team,

How's everyone doing? I hope great and the weather isn't continuing to be an issue. How are everyone's workouts going? I've switched mine up this week and it's made such a change in my attitude, outlook, etc. Hope all of you are getting your 10 minutes a day in. I know we can all do this together. I'm pulling for all of you as hard as I'm working myself...

Glad you finally got up and fixed yourself something to eat. You would have started to feel weak if you didn't. God was watching over you.

Yes I can't really get with the jury duty stuff but I don't want no one come serving me for not there. But I could have ask my doctor for a letter because I do have bursitis in both of my hips.

Dell,

I was sent a notice for jury duty, about 6 months ago, and my doctor sent them a letter to permanently take me off of the list because of my medical issues. I sure was happy about that, as when I was suppose to report, the only thing I was able to wear was shorts, as my edema was so bad, and it specifically said, no shorts, so I was stuck.

I'm playing catch up in here myself, because I was trying to get things cleared up with my finances, and then my nurse came, and after she helped me shower, I went back to bed, until 2:30 or so, and then I had so many phone calls to return, and I'm just getting on here now. At least, while I was on the phone, I did do some jogging for 160 minutes. I didn't even have a meal until this evening at 5 PM. My breakfast was a banana and some crackers. My lunch was another banana, and then I had a good meal. I just didn't feel like eating, but I knew I needed to eat something this evening.

So, I'll bid you ado, so we can both finish doing what we need to do here in SP Land!

Just getting in from jury duty and trying to catch up on here. I will be doing a late walk. But I did park far away from the court house and walked. Went to the grocery store and a few other stops and parked far away. So I did get alot of walking in before I got home.

This winter has been a nightmare for all of us, I do believe. I had some WONDERFUL weather for 4 days, in the 70s then yesterday it was in the mid 30s and tomorrow it suppose to be in the 20s. This is not the weather I signed on for, when I moved here! This has been a weird year with the weather, especially this winter.

I am still shoveling snow, more during the nite, just enuff to have to shovel plus wind keeps putting it back!! Lots of housework and basement stairs plus my steps outside with Brandy.
the kids are after me to start throwing things away that have sat way too long so that will keep me busy plus the regular hpusework and errands. Warmer today but then it snows. Oh well, it is winter. Georgine

Hi I've been fortunate to find 5 minute workouts thanks to SPARKPEOPLE and I try to do then as quick as I can lol,last night I did as my SO to put my youngest to sleep and got to do a quick workout before bed,she kept waking up though so I'll just have to get tiny micro workouts till she is more independent :)

When she's napping. Get up 10 minutes earlier. Dance and get her dancing with you. 10 min of movement is movement. Go for a walk with them, even around the yard.

VAMPIREBITES, maybe you can begin by doing 2 5-minute sessions instead of 10 min. all at once. Do you have a local Y that offers a child watch (babysitting)? Otherwise, maybe you can set up the youngest ones with a favorite toy while you march in place or invite them to join you for a parade through the house? I sometimes do exercises and chores during TV commercials.

already shoveled snow for 15 minutes. I was thinking how nice it was that the back patio was all dry-for 2 days.
Valerie, i had 4 kids and I can well understand your problem. I too would say to use nap time or have hubby take over for 10 minutes. also if you could do it before bed but I am sure you would rather just get in bed by then. good luck, moms sure deserve at least 10 for themselves and more. I can't even imagine how hard it is for you with the 3 little ones VAMP... Is there any chance for the 10 minutes when the little one is taking a nap? Or when hubby gets home? Just throwing a couple ideas out there. The older 2 could even join you when they're home. Can they watch the little one while you're in sight of them? Hope it works out for you, because you sound determinded....Keep at it, it will happen.

Hi everyone,my name is Valerie 28 years old 5'4,I'm a mother of three ages 1,5,&7 ,
I'm trying to lose 50-60pounds,current 214-216.

I recently found from spark the world of quick workouts :) and yesterday I gave it a shot,but it was extremely hard with my 13month old screaming and grabbing at me the whole time lol,she's super high maintence.So even finding 5mintues to workout is hard,due to my bad wrist it's hard to hold her to workout and she's too big for baby carrier now so it's limiting my options.

I want to stick to my goal for atleast 10min a day but it's hard to stay motivated when I know I'll have to fight to even get a moment that I might have to pass on if there's a tantrum.
