with the normal weight gain/loss story. I am serious
this time. And will not give up.

I will admit.. exercise is my *Struggle* big time! Now,
I have the time.. believe me.

Hi, I'm Johnda. I need to add a new challenge to my workout. I seem to be stuck at my current weight, for awhile. Nothing has changed in what I'm doing. I walk on treadmill everyday, but I seem to be stuck. Maybe this challenge will help. Short term goal is 10lbs by May 1st long term is 20 lbs.

Hello,

My name is Susan and I just joined this challenge and team in order to get me up and moving. Am working to get back to exercise after dealing with arthritis in my right knee and a fall that injured my left knee in June.

Was working on losing weight for my son's wedding this past October. The weight loss never happened and now I dislike seeing the pictures of me from the wedding.

My 60th bday is in July and I do not want to weigh what I weigh now so this is my first step.

Hi! I'm new to the team. Really trying to get back on track - I started working again last spring after being a stay-at-home mom for years and have had a really hard time balancing work, kids and family, and physical activity. But I need to do something and if I can force myself to make the time to do at least 10 minutes of anything each day, that's so much better than what I'm doing now. So here I am!

Hi I am new to this team. I have been exercising because I just completed my 5k walk. But I want to get into a better routine and I thought joining here and at least getting in10 minutes every day is better then doing it all at one time only 2 or 3 times a week. I live in Florence OR.
Married to a wonderful man, have 3 adult children, 10 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 3 great grandchilden and one step great grand child. My goals are to live a healtly and full life.

Hi, I'm Icewynde.

I've been "streaking" since I first joined the Spark, back in July. First streak got up to 110 days before being interrupted by a trip, now up to day 45 of my second streak.

I think the 10 minute challenge is a brilliant idea of Spark Guy. I don't know how many times I've started thinking "I don't really feel like exercise, but I only have to do 10 minutes" and then once I get into it I do the whole workout. And I am so stubborn, that once I get a good streak going I just can't let it die!

Anyway, now its official!

Every day, in every way, I'm just getting better and better!

Hi! I'm 34 and I've always been over-weight. I had open heart surgery when I was 3 years old to correct a congenital heart defect. While my condition is stable, my cardiologist says my condition would be "perfect" is I weighed under 200 pounds. So I joined sparklepeople to lose weight and the 10-minute challenge to hold myself accountable to lose the weight.

I joined this challenge a few days ago. I'm 70 years young & live in Arkadelphia, Arkansas. Monday - Friday I'm pretty faithful with my Silver Sneakers class. Holidays, weekends are my challenging times. Hope this challenge will help get me on track.

Day 1 of my challenge. It is not about weight loss but more about feeling better, healthier and happier. Completed reading the mini-book last night and have done my exercises this morning. Being 60+ I have been down this road before. Plus I am a nurse so well aware of what good nutrition is and what can happen if you don't eat right and exercise. With the help of this Spark Team, I am looking forward to reaching my goals. emoticon
