HI - my name is Gayle and I've been on SparkPeople since June. I've been doing pretty well, but I want to reinforce the consistency of working out so I can achieve my weight loss goal by the end of the year (if not sooner). I'm in the midst of my busy time at work, so I want to continue to work out (even if for only 10 minutes) - I usually have the all or nothing attitude, so I want to get past that.

My name is Hyarline. I have been part of Sparkpeople since February 2009. I joined the challenge to get me motivated again. I am Brenda. I have been on Sparkpeople for about 2 years. I did really well last year. I lost 25lbs in about 5 months. I was motivated by getting married in January and not wanting gain weight over the holidays. Once the wedding was over & my step dad was really sick, I lost all motivation. I am hoping to get back on track!!

hi my name is nola i have been on here 2 years did pretty well but the last 3 weeks i haven't exercised it's like starting all over again my body felt like lead. any way i join to get back walking 1`/2 mile to a mile outside and with WATPS DVD.

Hi I have been on sparkpeople for 2 months and have found the nutrition side of things fairly easy (most of the time:)) however I have not managed to do any consistent exercise. I spend my day running around after 2 preschool boys but I am about to return to work after maternity leave and I need to get some exercise routines in place before that happens or exercise will never happen.

Make a mistake...own that mistake...learn from it....move on.

Hi everyone my name is Ronie.. I have reached my goal weight and my darn brain is fighting me.. its telling me 'Your there what more could you want' I know that I will gain it all back if I don't get back into the "exercise mode" again. I was there. I worked out 4 to 5 days a week and I felt great.. now that the jeans fit great and I feel great I am having a hard time finding time to work out.. so I thought this would be a great starting spot.. I love the 'Fit, Firm and Fired Up' DVD and I plan on using it every day.. I was also wondering if this team had other workouts that I can do in the mornings before work... I look forward to getting to know you and I bet I see some of my SP friends here.. I feel like I know Coach Nicole from her DVD's my favorite one is the 'Crunchless Abs'.. it really works my core and I don't need to get on the ground to do it..

I'm Wendy. I've been on Sparkpeople for almost 2 years and haven't really used it. So I'm still where I was then. But when I DO, it works, and I feel really good.

When I have been consistent on Sparkpeople, it was using the 10-minute workouts, so I thought I'd give it a go again!

Hi all, I'm Emily. I've been on Sparkpeople for six months and have kept a consistent weight for the most part--but I want to lose it! I want to feel better about myself, be healthier (and yes look better). My usual routine is walking--about 15 miles a week--but I feel like I need to improve in the strength training area. Hi all. I joined this challenge because since I was pregnant 7 years ago I have not had any consistent exercise in my routein 0 just keeping up with a child. I also quit smoking about 5 months ago and have put on 10 lbs that I would like to lose (its cheaper to lose weight than buy new jeans). I want to have a more active life and increased energy so I think this is a great place to start. Good luck everyone!

Hi, my name is Carol. I've in the process of getting off meds that really packed on the weight. I was sick with inflammation of the liver and taking prednisone for over a year. Now that I am in recovery, my med dosage is being reduced and the weight is starting to come off. I have dropped almost 13 pounds in the past 2 months. I joined a gym but having problems with getting there on a regular basis - busy time of year, so I would like to do more at home and be accountable for it. I am looking for motivation and suggestions to keep active.

I am Colleen. I've successfully lost almost 70 lbs, and it was smooth sailing. Have another 30+ to go and it's getting tough. Plateau after plateau...don't get me wrong, if 175-180 lbs is where I stay for the rest of my life I'll be happy, but....I can't seem to BUY a calorie burned these days. Nothing I do (my usual routines) is working...so I am joining a challenge to do something ELSE or something NEW for 10 minutes a day.

When I saw this team on my start page, I was like BINGO! I trust this team will provide an outline to begin what I hope will be a permanent exercise regimen. Hi! I am Alex and joined this challenge to keep myself accountable. I really want to make exercise a daily habit for me, even if I only get in 10 min a day. I sit at a desk all day long and noticed that I was losing my strength, my arms and legs were getting flabby, and I started to get really lazy. Time for a change! Unfortunately exercise and weight loss do not go hand in hand for me. I usually gain weight or stay the same. I think it is because my metabolism speeds up and I get more hungry. That usually discourages me and I stop exercising. But I don't want this to be in my way any longer.

Hi I am Sheryl, I joined because I am currently not exercising at all. 10 minutes is doable for me. I have also reset my goal to 10% of my weight and will change the goal when I reach that weight. I think I was overwhelmed with losing 60# and exercising at least 30 minutes. This is more manageable for me.
