First emoticon on seeing the scale move down - ain't it wonderful?! Moving more is part of keeping the weight off, and much less expensive than surgery, smile! Fortunately, SP goes where you go - you can keep making progress even on vacation. emoticon

Hi everyone. I have struggled with my weight since my 40's, currently I am 54. I have been successful on several occasions to lose 30 pounds only to put it back on time and again. I am considering lapbanding and my dietician recommended this site. I decided that I need physical exercise and while I can't say I am loving it....I do feel so much better about myself. I have joined a gym and have gone faithfully 4 times a week for the last two weeks. During this time I have lost 8.5 pounds, also watching my diet. Some days I have to push myself to go, but I guess that is what it is all about. I am leaving on vacation next weekend and know that my exercise routine will be interrupted. I hope that it is not like starting over again when I return. I love this site but do find that I spend a considerable amount of time on it....
