I am almost a third of the way through my long-term goal of increased fitness and decreased body fat. I started at 36% body fat (obese), am currently at 31.7%--almost down to 30% (overweight), and working my way down to 25% (normal range). That goal will require about a 30 pound weightloss. I've lost 9 pounds so far. I've taken up kettlebell training which has given me new energy and enthusiasm for learning a fun and challenging sport. 30 minutes burns 600 calories so there is great reward for the effort. Anyone in the Illinois Fox Valley is welcome to join me! I am a middle-aged woman who has tried every diet and never liked exercising but I'm doing it this time!
