Hazel, I am 52 and I have lost weight tracking food, drinking water, and pretty much just walking for exercise. The support here keeps me going.

Hi Hazel,

Don't think of the exercise as consuming your life, it will just make it more difficult. Just find little things you can add on during the day. I have found that even stretching or doing leg lifts during commercials is helpful. Just make an effort to move more. I really thought I was too tired to invest any more effort into anything, but I am actually less tired now that I am moving more. I guess it gets the blood pumping and the oxygen circulating.

Hi Hazel,
You have joined a wonderful Team - Class of July 18 - 24. I was so very daunted when I started and was all for throwing in the towel within 2 days of starting but the help and support has been phenomenal.
Stick with it...the longer that you stay with us all the more likely you are not to give up. - It already seems that I have invested too much into this to let things slide.
Keep in touch and be firm but kind in your thinking.

I'm 56 & cannot seem to loss weight. Regular exercise & reduced food intake has only stopped the progression. The food log helps me actually see what I'm eating so am willing to give that a chance. Was told that writing everything down is essential to losing weight. Just feel like the exercise required will become my life and I'm not willing to live for exercise.
