My name is Sam and I am totally dedicated to getting down to a healthy weight. My goal right now is to go from 310 pounds to 280 pounds by next weigh in at the doctor. I am weighing myself every three weeks to monitor my progress and I walked 8.5 miles today. I have lost 31 pounds within 17 weeks time. I believe I have found a weight loss solution that makes sense to me, I am doing real long slow walks, and I believe five or six more months from now I will have walked the equivalent of the appalaichen trail and I will be down to 250 pounds, which I am totally dedicated to doing and to keep doing the real long walks.

I look forward to listening to other people and please don't be offended if I do not take advice, but understand that I am working a plan that makes sense to me.
