Welcome to SparkPeople! There are lots of people here who are willing and able to help you with accountability. You have just met two of them and there are plenty more out there. Check out some SparkPages and look for people with similar goals, interests, etc.

Hi,
I am 53 years old, mother of three, grandmother of 7 and stepgrandmother of 9. I have had 3 neck surgeries and 1 lower back surgery as the result of a motorcycle accident 3 years ago. I am limited in my mobility due ot chronic back pain and I bound to pain medication. I am desparately struggling to lose at least 40lbs which I believe would help me immensely with my back pain not to mention make me feel better all the way around. What I need is a strong accountability partner who will not be afraid to speak strong words of encouragement and conviction so that I don't back down and give up...again...
I have wonderfully fit husband who has tried to help but it just goes in one ear and out the other, beside it doesnt help that he can eat whatever he wants and he does which means he brings it home and...I eat it too.
Thanks for listening....
