I agree. That is the best part. I even track calcium and fibre and have made changes to my daily menus to get the proper amounts each day. A great system.

I love this site :) I've done other online tracking, but I really like the way that this site does the daily feed back with REAL nutrition values i.e. calories, fat, calcium etc. It helps me to realize where I can make small changes, and keeps me accountable to eat healthily.

I used to log everything in a little notebook. Thank goodness for the internet and my iPhone!!! Life is so much easier now! Welcome and good luck!! Libbie

Yes, I like the convenience of the tracker's too. I always tried to journal and keep track, but lost the books etc. Now it is on my computer and I can always find it.

Hello! I used to do things by hand too and never had much luck because I just didn't have the time to figure out everything manually. Sparkpeople really was the tool that I needed to make my life easier!

I am new too. I just found out that if you go to the View points area and click on something, it will bring you right to that site. It helps me to find the different areas.

Hi everyone, I heard that tracking is the key to fitness and a healthy weight and I tried tracking my nutrition and fitness minutes manually, tried creating my own excell file and I just happended to 'bump' into this web site and love it. I think this is exactly what I need. Not sure how to navigate through everything yet but tying.
