For the last twenty-five years, I have been an on again/off again WW follower. I have joined and rejoined this program numerous times. I have had varying degrees of success over the years. I have yet to reach my goals. Even though I have come close to meeting my goal, over the course of time, I put the weight back on. I am turning 50 in a few months. Originally, my goal was to lose weight by age 50. Now I have altered my goal to the lose weight sometime in 2011 while I am 50. I am being realistic and I have set my goal to lose 81 pounds in 1 year. That averages out to be about 1.5 pounds a week. I think this is a very do-able goal. With the help of almighty God, I have lost 20 pounds since last August. I have managed to keep this weight off. It has been very slow. My dedication to a healthy lifestyle has not been as consistent as I would have liked. I am hoping that Sparkpeople will be the catalyst that I need to jumpstart me back into a more consistent pattern of behavior that will result in my finally being able to reach my weight loss and fitness goals.

I can do all things through Jesus Christ who gives me strength.
