So glad you have been blessed by knowing God loves you and provides you with what you need. God is a loving God and knows our needs. Our willingness to go to him in prayer and recognize his power can be wonderful. Have a wonderful experience being grateful for your blessings.

Guess what? We got an answer to our prayers already! We found that a Ford F-150 is towable and we found one that still cost less than my car. Here's the really interesting part: When I called our insurance company to switch from the 2003 Dodge Ram to the 2008 F-150, our insurance rate dropped even further. How can that be since the new truck is 5 years newer? God works in mysterious ways!

I started SP at 138 lbs in October 2010. My goal weight was supposed to be 125, which I reached on January 17, 2011. I have stayed at 125 (give or take a few pounds) ever since.

Denise,
So sorry you are living with these frustrations. I have no answers for your challenges, but hoping this verse from Psalms will bring you comfort.
Psalms 37:18 The Lord knoweth the days of the upright; and their inheritance shall be for ever.

My husband and I are Workampers, which means we live in our RV full time and travel around the country from job to job. Before we started this lifestyle, 2 1/2 years ago, my husband sold his beloved Harley because we had no way to transport it. He's been depressed ever since.

Last month he came into some money and bought another Harley. We still have no way to transport it, but I am more than willing to trade in my PriusV, which we've been towing, for a towable truck that we could put the Harley in. My frustration is that we've been having a difficult time finding a towable truck.

Yesterday we found a used Dodge Ram, half the price of my PriusV, that the salesman thought was towable. We got a really good deal on it and bought it, even switching our insurance over. We were going to save on insurance too.

When we got the truck home last night the salesman called to say he hadn't been comfortable only checking on one site to see if the Ram was towable, so after we left he checked several more sites. He said that about half said it was towable and half said it wasn't. He suggested we do some more checking. (We got a gem of a car salesman!)

This morning my husband took the truck to a Dodge dealership and they said the truck isn't towable, so we are returning the truck and getting my car back. I'll have to switch the insurance back, we'll be paying more than we should again, and we still don't have a way to tow the Harley. We're leaving this area on Saturday.

Does anyone in this group know of a towable truck with a long enough bed to hold an 8' Harley?
