Hi Tinkeryates,
Counting calories consumed and burned is the trick. I'm figuring this out also. It takes a 3500 calorie deficit to burn a pound... but you have to eat the right amount of calories with the right kinds of foods... I bought the "Spark Solution" book and have been following the SparkCoach program... I highly recommend it!

When I started my weight loss journey I was at 220, got down to 185, then I don't what happen I got back up to 211, now I'm trying to get back on track, but i feel lost, I don't know if count calories is good or counting calories burned. I just feel lost.
