Hi all,

I'm both new to SparkPeople and to Treadmill desking. I put my treadmill desk in place the Sunday prior to Thanksgiving and I'm loving it thus far. Most days I'm able to get 20000 steps in without too much effort. Typically after I cross this marker, I sit at my 'regular' desk and work.

I'm an avid crossfiter and in pretty good shape, but I felt that I was WAY to sedentary during the day. Prior to the desk, I averaged about 4-5k steps per day...I really had to work to get to 10k, which wasn't really feasible given work obligations. My goal is to use the desk to facilitate losing those 10 lbs that just won't go away.

I joined SparkPeople hoping to find others with Treadmill desk experience so I can learn from them.

Aside from some sore feet, I'm finding this process to be an absolute blast. It's a really fun game to play with myself to get my 20000 steps in.
