Thanks for all the messages. You can get things to grow in florida during the summer but Its to hot to be out working in the garden. Its nice in the morning but I am usually working or on a long bike ride unless it is raining. good to hear from all of you. emoticon

Hi and welcome to the team and I live in Central Florida and you can grow stuff in the summer here but it does take some work

I like to garden but in Florida during the summer nothing much grows, to hot. It is the rainy season but is doesn't do much to cool down all the heat. I do have some ghost peppers coming in. I don't eat them but I like to grow them. These peppers are very, very, hot! I will be putting in some raised beds and getting reading to plant around September/ October. I am not great at gardening but enjoy it. Info about me is I live in south-west Florida, retired but still work. 63 years old, originally from Michigan, Retired from the U.S. Navy, tks
