Hi, new to this team...

Sing, that's wonderful, congratulations!

Good morning everybody!! Just checking in on everybody. Well, still not doing very well "dieting"
mostly concentrating on stopping the binging and grazing habits that I have gotten. I have been 2 days now w/o junk food. I was telling my other support system how great I think you all are and she said that she was going to check in also. She also has alot to lose. Anyway... I ended up losing 5 pounds just by not binging!!PTL

Kaeann, welcome to our team. After you find some teams that look like a fit for you, try to pare them down to two or three teams that seem like the best fit. I found that I was spending hours trying to keep up with all of my teams when I first joined and it was just too overwhelming, and I couldn't really get to know anyone.

Something else I learned is that I needed to work in steps and not try to make all the changes at once. I needed to make getting enough water a habit, staying in a certain calorie range a habit, choosing wise snacks a habit, etc... So, I worked on one thing at a time, one habit per week. I lost 45 pounds my first year with SP, and then because of medical problems I wasn't able to work out as much for the next year and a half, and for that first year I was able to maintain my weight because of what I had learned, even though I wasn't able to work out. I have gained back 20 pounds, and I'm not really sure why, but I also know how to stop the process and get back on track. So don't give up, there is no victory in that. Take it one step at a time, one day at a time! If there is anything that we can do to be of help, don't hesitate to ask! God bless, Kim

I have been on sp about 2 weeks now. I am trying to find good teams to join.

I have a LOT to lose! And I just started again. This time I want to keep it off and not gain anymore!
