I had my lobetomy in July. I am still having problems with a nasty cough and shortness of breath that my pulmonologist is concerned about. I cough so hard sometimes that I hurt my ribs. And I can get out of breath walking 15 feet from my bed to the bathroom in the morning.

The doctor prescribed a Symbicort inhaler (160/4.5) for me to use twice a day and an albuterol rescue inhaler. I have a follow-up with him in mid November and he wants me to have another breathing function test in January. Oh joy...

Has anyone else had these problems? If so have you found anything natural to help? I am on enough meds.
