QOTD 8/27

I love to read. Just joined a book group and finished The Uncommon Reader, which I was too keen on. I'm really looking forward to our next selection, though: Pachinko. Currently reading a non-fiction book, called Citizens of London. Topic is very heavy, but the author's (Lynn Olsen) writing style makes it very readable and interesting.

Sorry I missed a day. My precious Sean was with his birth mother this weekend, and she took him to a campground - with a pool - without sunscreen. He couldn't even wear a shirt today, so he was unable to go to school. Doesn't look likely for tomorrow, either. Sometimes I wish we could still do public floggings!

What is your favorite leisure activity?

Reading and knitting! Just finished a book called "Winter Sisters". Gripping!
