emoticon I am so glad for you MAMAZ4! I think we have something good going for us - it's our young age at getting these replacements. We can recover so much quicker I think. This also gives us the chance to keep on moving and to get out in the world offering our gifts and talents to those around us. We are still too young to retire and it really sucks if we don't have the mobility to keep us going. So, I am forever grateful for the fact that there are surgical procedures and apparatus that help to keep our bodies mobile.

Hi all! Glad to be here and giving my new attitude and new lifestyle a chance and place to thrive here on Sparks. I have severe arthritis and autoimmune disease but have just undergone my first knee replacement and am about to book my second. I am also having my hips replaced. The difference in my mobility has increased with the first surgery and I cannot wait to move on the second. I am out of my wheel chair and walking on canes and soon...i know...i will be walking the dog and ballroom dancing! 47 years old but feeling a lot better than I did at 40!
