Hi Debbie. Welcome to the team. I hope we can be of some support to you in your pain. It seems like an old injury can come back to haunt us when we get older. I have a bad right hip and am looking at having the procedure for hip replacement. In the meantime I do what I can to keep myself mobile. I belong to a women's fitness club and they now have a personal fitnes trainer so I have been going to her. She seems to be helping me to gain the strength I will need. If I hurt during an exercise, then she doesn't give me that one any more and finds an alternative. Giving me an all around exercise routine. I meet with her once a week, have gone for four weeks now. I try to get out to the exercise club more than once a week to do some sort of exercise routine, but easier said than done in my busy life. If you like water, then I have been told that low impact water arobics is a good thing to sign up for. The resistance of the water is not so hard on your joints. I am not a water lover so I don't do that exercising. The elliptical machine seems to work for me and not hard on my hip - I don't know if it would help you with the pelvic problem. I find walking is just too hard on me, and I used to love going for walks.
Keep in touch. We are all here to support each other. emoticon emoticon emoticon

hi everyone I live with arthritis, and right now its my pelvic bone that is sore, I broke my pelvic bone when I was 5 years old. Right now its really flared up and I can hardly walk. So excercise for me is really tough. I had to leave the diabetes challenge as I can no longer work the challenges. So I came here for some tips and tricks as to how to excercise with arthritis. Right now I need pain medication. How do you guys manage??? I don't seem to be able to. emoticon
