Hello Quietchild and welcome to this team. We have not been a very active team lately. Maybe you can help us get something going by creating a new topic or thread.
I am glad you enjoy swimming. That is something I do not do as I am not fond of the water. Do you take part in any water arobic classes? I belong to a womens fitness club that has a 30 minute circuit - you might want to try something like that. Or there is Tai Chi which is very low impact exercise. I enjoy doing belly dance but you have to work the knees a lot - I had to give it up for a while because my hip got bad but through physio and massage treatments I have improved my condition and am just getting back into dance again. How about just going for very short walks throughout the day?
Hope these are helpful hints to get you started.
I wish you the best on your weight loss journey. I know we cannot cure the arthritis but hopefully you will find a way to help alleviate the pain.

Hi I am new to Spark, I love it, I have learned so much. I have JA...which is becoming much worse in my knees and hands although I have pain in ALL joints. My condition is degeneratve and will need knee surgery in the not to distant future. I would like to know of any low impact excercise you may like, I swim now , it is very helpfull.Would love to hear from someone with similar issues, I love to cook, read paint when I am able and I am a cat lover, I have 4! talk to ya soon!
