Hi Jamee, I know this is nearly a year late, but welcome to the team! I think with all the movies released now, it has quieted down some. We do have a daily chat thread up top though! Some of us (me included) bounce in and out when life gets hectic, but we all seem to come back!

I'm new...and I became a very late in the game fan. About 2 weeks ago I saw the first one...and have seen every other one in the saga since. I am a VERY die hard fan now. Of course...being new...I have uncontrollable hunger... ;)

Hi all Ė Iím new to this team, but have been on SP a few years now.. not that Iíve done much on here but maintain the extra few pounds that I canít seem to lose! Haha. Iím 25, and would ideally like to lose about 20 pounds. I run and do strength training, lose 5-10 pounds.. get excited, let myself slip, gain it back, loathe myself, disappear into a few weeks of self loathing and then re-commit.. lather rinse repeat for the past 5 years of my life! So I thought this challenge seemed like a really cool way to have a goal to reach other than a number on a scale or a size in my closet. Iím going to run/walk/jog/bike to Forks Washington from Halifax Nova Scotia! Looking forward to getting to know some of my new team members :)

My name is Rachel and I just joined the team, I am a 28 year old mother of a 3 year old. I work a full time job and work in a office enviroment so now I have a full time chair butt. I have gained over 100lbs in the past ten years and have decided its time we part ways.

I watched my first twilight movie 1 week before breaking dawn was released in theaters and managed to read all of the books and movies before the midnight release. I am officially hooked.

Hi, I joined this team a few days ago, and I am so glad that I joined! I started reading Twilight at the end of June, and yesterday I finished reading what is posted of Midnight Sun. So, I feel like I spent the summer in Forks, having a vacation with friends...I was just so drawn into the stories. Yes, I read Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse, Breaking Dawn, The Short Second Life of Bree Tanner, The Twilight Saga The Official Illustrated Guide, and every deleted chapter and Midnight Sun all available on Stephanie Meyer's web page. I guess you could say that I couldn't put the books down.

So why the sudden interest in Twilight? I teach music and band and for summer lessons I let the kids pick a "fun" book. One girl picked the music from the Twilight movie and I had to admit that I had seen the movie exactly one and a half times. So, being a dilligent music teacher, I wanted to watch the movie again to hear the music, but you should really read the book before you see the movie, right? So I did and you can see where that took me!

okay, so I am really excited about walking to Forks, but it will take me 2,094 miles to do that! Well, I love tracking my steps with a pedometer, so this challenge will help. I also would like to join the team challenge, so perhaps I will see you there!

Just wanted to introduce myself. I am looking for a group where I can be active and make friends. I have tried loosing weight in the past but have never really relied on others to help to motivate me nor I have put myself out there for others in that way when it comes to weight loss. However, it seems different for me this time. I guess I'm "sick and tired of being sick and tired"! I seemed to have made some true live-style changes and have come to realize that what is changing this time is my attitude. I am in this for the long haul ... making those changes that are not just for today but that will be lasting. Exercise is my biggest obstacle. Right now I am committed to 20 minutes a day, every day and I am starting to get dependent on those endorphins!! I love the extra energy those 20 minutes are giving me. Loving it for the energy is different for me... the scale hasn't moved much yet!...but I am onto something with that new energy emoticon
