I don't have any add'l hints to add to what Leah said, but want to add my support to you. Yes, by all means, get involved with your teams. If you don't have any yet, find some and join. You won't regret it - there are many people out there to help and encourage, and there are always others who are not as well off as you are - they need YOU! I find that I'm helped by helping others.

Hi Doris, and welcome to Spark People! I understand about struggling with exercise; I used to be that way. One thing that may really help you is to use the fitness tracker. You can log your exercise and cardio minutes in your Spark Points. Logging makes everything easier. Also, I would encourage you to get involved with your teams! The support and encouragement and motivation from fellow sparkers is awesome!

My name is Doris and I have been struggling all my life to lose weight, eat right and exercise. I have lost 8 pounds since the 3rd week of January. I struggle all the time. I struggle to exercise. I can make time in my day to do it, but it is such a chore. Any helpful ideas would be appreciated.
