I'm glad you figured out that you have to take some time for YOU in order to 'be there' for others. It's something we women have been programmed to ignore, and yet it's so vital. You can't help 'fill' others if you don't have any re-charging come in to yourself. : )

Explore the site, read members SparkPages, make friends, join teams (if I'm not mistaken there is even a team for single parents). I am new here myself and still learning to navigate the site. Hi - I'm a mom of 3 with about 50 lbs to lose. Used to be fit and trim. In the past 6 years or so, I've taken myself "off the list". No time for me to watch what I ate, exercise, or take time for myself. I was so engrossed in working 2 jobs and making sure that everyone else was on "the list", I put myself dead last. Now, despite a whole lot of bad luck recently , divorice, no support, a job under $30 a year, a second job, bankruptsy, and 3 kids, I HAVE to make time before my unhealthy habits take the best of me. I'm kinda scared of how and where to start so if any ot this sounds familiar, I'd love a bit of advice. Any help with the site and good places to look on it and how to squeeze exercise into an already overpacked day are also appreciated.
