One thing to remember - this is not really a diet programme. It is a programme, but not a diet one. It's a tool to change your lifestyle & way of thinking about food & fitness & health & things like that. You've got it right that there's a strong emphasis on living healthy - that's the key to SP, & I hope that you really do find it helpful.

Hi, I'm cautiously stepping into another diet program. But this one is different. To Start, it's free! And there is so much emphasis on living healthy that has piqued my interest. But most of all, I've changed. I'm commiting come hell or high water. My goal is to lose 90 lbs. I'm in SP class of 2/28 - 3/6. I'm a caretaker of my parents (they are a hoot!) and I am finally spiritually aware and growing into my God-self. I am looking forward to having great success with Sparkpeople.
