Welcome, I understand when you speak of tight funds, not too flush myself lately. Read the book from the library.

Watching salt intake also trying not to buy foods that have high fructose corn syrup, sugar, rice syrup, corn syrup, fructose, sucrose etc. in the first three ingredients.

No foods that have more than 3 ingredients that I can not pronounce.

If an item has more than 10 ingredients I put it on the Do Not Buy List as it is too processed.

Hello! I am so excited about this group (and the book!) I joined to group to see what people thought of it and had learned before I bought (funds are tighter than tight!) I found a super cheap second hand one on amazon so now I'm so excited to start trying recipes, they sound amazing!! I really hope this will help my transition from vegetarian to vegan ...(my old recipes are gettin a teeeny bit worn out). Yay for delicious earth loving food ! emoticon
