emoticon So sorry your family have to endure this ordeal.

When my beloved Lance was diagnosed, the initial shock was terrible then a calm came over us which is difficult to explain. We knew what we were facing but it is the peace which came over us, the peace the bible speaks of that surpasses all human understanding this brought us through.

Keep the faith. God Bless You.

I am so sorry for what you and your family is facing, but just remember that we are not any of us statistics. We are unique. I am praying for your Dad and you and your family. I lost my dad several years ago but not to cancer, so I do understand your fear. I do know that my dad is with me and though I miss him greatly I know he will always love me and I will always cherish him. Whatever, your outcome, you will not be alone. Spark mail me anytime you need prayer or to talk. I will be here for you.

On April 1st of this year my Father was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. I would have given anything had it been an April Fools Day joke instead of reality. I am an unmarried, thirty-one year old woman, and an only child. The thought of losing either one of my parents terrifies me. I have never been close to my extended family and I have few friends in the town that I recently moved to. My Dad is extremely strong and when the typical chemotherapy treatments did not work he began new trial chemotherapy treatments that have proven to be semi successful. I am very proud of both my Mom and Dad. Their strength during this difficult time amazes me. It is nice to be able to share my story with people who understand how hard it is to see a love one hurt at the hands of cancer. Once again hello, I hope I get the chance to know you all better.
