JBarber, Your daughter is an inspiration to us all! Especially her little one year old! I hope that your husband is fighting the fight and has an easy journey. My son is doing great. He is at an oncology camp this week and comes home today. I cannot wait to see him! I miss him terribly!

To us all!!
My daughter who is now 34 was diagnosed at age 3 with Histiocytosis-x and went through 21 rounds of chemo and 1 round of radiation over an eleven year period. She's doing well with a few side affects but has one miraculous 1 year old.
My husband was diagnosed 6 years ago with CLL chronic lymphatic leukemia. I've lost count of all the chemos he's had. Just went through one today causing a reaction which took a few hours longer than planned. Made for a long day!!!
He is neutropenic and they skipped one of the chemos. (he takes two consecutively).
So please know my heart goes out to you guys also.
May we all agree in the name of Jesus that we will conquer.

Me I am counting because that is about how much time we have left as well with my son Mason! He is 8 almost 9 and happens to be in the hospital right now for neutrapenia. Going on day 8! My dad was also diagnosed three weeks ago with a Grade III glioblastoma that he had a biopsy of and has started chemo and radiation. My brother in law was diagnosed with Hodgkin's a couple of months ago. There is my life story in a small nutshell! Hope your son is doing well and let the countdown continue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! www.caringbridge.org/visit/masonlink

I am also a mom of a son battling cancer, but my son will be 35 next week and was diagnosed with MFH sarcoma in December '08, mets to both lungs found July '09, mets to the brain in December '09. He's been through limb-saving surgery, chemo, brain surgery, radiation, more chemo, and is currently undergoing several concurrent chemos and is facing lung surgery in the near future. My heart goes out to every person, whether they are the patient, spouse or family member, no matter their age, who faces cancer.
I hope and pray for your son's recovery, and for you, to find the support and strength you need to help him through this.

Take one day at a time, keep putting one foot in front of the other. Don't look back except to see how far you have come. Take comfort in the expressions of caring from loved ones and strangers alike. Most importantly, believe in yourself. You have the strength to withstand any storm.

Welcome to the team.

So sorry to hear about your son's condition. He will be victorious.

God Bless.

Hello All!

My 10 year old son was diagnosed with leukemia (ALL) 2 years ago. It's nice to find a team with people that can relate what I am going through.

My little guy is doing great and has 1 year 2 months and about 20 days of treatment left but who's counting?!?!?
