Hi Tracy emoticon

My sweet mother died in March of 1987 and there are still times I get tears in my eyes. Crying is very healing so don't hold back, just cry when you need to and remember it's one of the 5 steps of the grieving process.

The main thing is to remember that although your SIL wants to be remembered, she would also want you to be happy so continue to grieve at times but also grasp the happy moments and give thanks for all the good times you two shared. You do eventually move on and will cry less but it in no ways lessens the love you had for her.

God bless ~ keeping you in prayer

thanks ladies it's great to know I have the support here on SP for this as well. I've written tons in my blog about my s-i-l and what we have gone through and that does seem to help to just get it out there. Its been difficult and I know it's not going to be easy on any of us mostly the babies that were left behind, that is what tears me up is when I think about my nieces and nephews now without a mom.

emoticon Sorry about your sister-in-law. I went through that stage for a long time when my sister passed away in August, 2005. I think I'm just beginning to accept that she's really gone! Hang in There!

Hi Tracy,

So Sorry to hear about your sister in law. She is no longer in pain and for that we must be truly grateful. For the departed it is a release but for those left behind it is a living hell. Lean on the Lord and he will get you through this.

I find I must crying does help when I want to rather than bottle it inside. Crying is a release mechanism for me and helps me to remove the tension inside.

God Bless You.

My sister in law just passed away from pancreatic cancer about 2 weeks ago. I'm still in the stage of is she really gone?? then when i realize, yes she is I can't stop crying. It has gotten a little better this week...then again it is only Tuesday LOL

But anyways glad I found another great team on SP!! Boy they think of everything don't they?!?!?
