And I wonder if since you are a male, you need more calories since you are working out so much. Maybe your body thinks it's starving.

I agree about food, try to get lean protein and LOTS of veggies. Also agree to add some strength, continue your cardio and add 3-4 sets of push ups lunges squats, planks, mountain climbers. Also try one day a week to get 1600-1800 calories. Keep pushing you'll get through it!!

Maybe you could try and add some resistance training into your routine as well. I need to do the same thing, and really don't enjoy lifting weights. But I think even doing things such as lunges, squats, push-ups etc can help.

I would think 1500 calories would be fine, but what kinds of food are you eating? That makes a big difference as well.

From Iowa State GO CYCLONES!
I'm a 22 year old male @ 240.8 lbs.
I need to lose about 50 lbs to get down to 190. I've lost about 10 lbs, but I've stalled out. Currently I'm trying to figure out why I might have stalled. I'm eating around 1500 calories a day. and working out 6 times a week for 33 minutes on an eliptical I get about 2.55 miles every time I do that.

Help!
