Hi! I'm Janice. I am married, two adult boys both married, and one expecting baby girl on July 11th. Can't wait to be a grandmother. I purpose for losing weight of course is to be healthy. I have problems sleeping and aching all over. But of course my second purpose to lose weight is to be healthy for my grandchild.

I like to knit, crochet, do cross stitch, quilting, etc.... I have too many hobbies and not doing one of them right now, but I have a knitting project that I have not touched for a few months = unfinished project= so one of my goals is to finish this blanket.

Also because that it is my 5th time on SP, I have decided that I am going to do this very slow as for me trying to cut everything down and pushing myself to exercise, I get overwhelmed and give up. So I am going to change one or two things so that it turns out to become a habit and then I will increase. I am pretty sure that is the best way for me. I have 100 lbs to lose so it is going to be a long process. So wish me good luck.

Hi, I'm Noreen and I'm from Eastern Montana. I love to knit, crochet, and cross stitch. Although right now I haven't been doing any cross stitch until I find a good solution for being able to see my stitching. I used to do a lot of cross stitch before I started losing my close up sight. During that time, I couldn't knit and crochet, so things have reversed some. I am grateful to our Lord for giving me these wonderful talents as gifts, and I give back by knitting and crocheting baby and preemie hats for the local hospitals.

Hello I am Marie and I live in Malta. I have been on and off with Spark for a few years, only leaving because of lack of time and not from lack of interest. I am back now because I do have more time, and now that I am 60 and overweight, I need to get myself in trim and healthy.

I love to crochet, knit and cross stitch. I have two cross stitch projects on the go and one knitting project which has turned into a nightmare.

Hi! I'm Elaine from Malaysia! I love reading, cross-stitching and crochet! I would love to take up knitting. I can knit and purl, beyond that, I don't know.

I would love to drop 25lbs! bringing my weight to 100lbs! I'm very short, 4 feet 11 and I'm single and have no kids.

I'm currently working on a complicated piece of cross stitch! I've been procrastinating a lot! I've finally made up my mind to do a bit a day, hopefully, I'm complete it someday before I go to meet my maker! I'm on dialysis so I consider each day a blessing! Never hurts to be prepared though!

Hi! I'm Yvonne from Pennsylvania. I've been away from needlecrafts for quite awhile until I returned to crocheting and needlepoint over a year ago. I recently learned how to knit from watching videos. I hope to return to embroidery at some point.

I have been away from Spark for a number of years. I just returned after my doctor recently put me back on insulin. Any advice is always helpful.

Hi I'm Lisa. I am a Louisiana transplant in Alabama for over 20 years now. I am happily married to my best friend. We have 5 kids together (3 are mine & 2 are his). We also have 3 grandsons and a granddaughter. I love to crochet and want to learn to quilt and knit. I figure since I taught myself to crochet by reading and watching videos then the same should be true for knitting and crocheting.

I am here for support on losing weight and getting in shape so I can play with my grandbabies for a long time to come.

Hi there! I'm Camy Tang and I'm a Christian fiction author. I've been off of SparkPeople for about a year but I'm back now to lose weight.

My biggest problem is snacking while working. I have been knitting (easy things like stockinette stitch or garter stitch projects) while working--I'll knit while I think, then put it down and type until I get stuck again--and that seems to help with the snacking, but I want to stop snacking entirely.

Nice to meet you all!

Hi! I'm Christine and have been with Sparkpeople awhile, but am now back more faithfully. I am a married mom, grandma (4th baby on the way!) and recently went back to work full-time outside the home after working from home for 18 years while the kids were all there. I only have one at home now, Robbie, who is in 8th grade, and just went to public school this year after being homeschooled until now. I love to crochet, spin, knit, sew, and learn new things.

I feel I have to get my spiritual fundamentals in order to be lastingly successful at my physical health fundamentals, but I keep working at it! I am down 30 pounds and intend to get rid of another 55.

Hi I am Maniamman, but every one around me simply calls me Ammamma( grandma). I am 85 and live in Kerala, India. I do a lot of crocheting and knitting. Used to do a lot of needle point, embroidery & sewing but had to give that up with age and failing eyesight. Had a cataract surgery 15 years ago so. But I still do crocheting and also volunteer to teach the underprivileged at the church twice a week. Look forward to learning more from you'll

Hi my name is Ann and I am 53 years old and newly single. I love to crochet and needle point but right now I am living with my sons and I am doing plastic canvas projects, placemats, coasters and some tissue boxes. Is there any one in this club that also does plastic canvas. Thanks for having me and all have a great day.

Hello from Florida. I'm an elementary teacher, piano instructor, and Minister of Music. I am knitting my first project (very slowly). With the help of my FitBit and SparkPeople food tracking, I'm down almost 12 pounds since May 26. Yeah! 8 more to go... I try for 8000 steps every day except Sunday when my goal is 5000.

Welcome Linsey. I too used to make all my own clothes, but I'm working too much now. I do counted cross stitch and love it. I also knit.

Hello! My name is Linsey & like to sew & crochet. I used to do counted cross stitch, but haven't for quite a few years.....when I started a family. LOL. ....I stopped that when I didn't have a lap anymore....and, that was over 20 years ago. I used to sew most of my own clothes, sew my babies matching outfits. But, now I sew mostly doggy bandanas and tote bags. See my SP for a pic of my family that I made into Raggedy Ann's & Andy's. THAT was a lot of fun!! I do some crocheting, but stick to the simple stuff with that. I've made blankets, scarves, socks, ...

I've been with SP since May 2010. I reached my weight goal, and gained some back. Nowaday's, I am trying to get myself out of a bit of rut and be better disciplined about food tracking. emoticon

Hi Mary Beth,

I wanted to suggest that you also create your own SparkPage (under the Community tab) as it is a great way for folks to interact with you and encourage you. You can even blog about your journey on there!

It's also on your SparkPage where you can get more SparkFriends. We send each other "goodies" and comment on our blogs/progress/photos/etc.

I can only imagine how difficult the holidays are without your son. I'm thankful that you have a good relationship with your daughters and grandchildren! Little ones help to ease the pain of loss at holiday times.

My son is 30 and my daughter is 28. I don't see them nearly often enough for my liking, but I'm thankful they both live within a couple of hours of me. I see my daughter and her husband more often as they do live closer. It's hard when everyone is so busy living life!!

My daughter likes running and has done several 5K's and 10K's. One of my goals is to be able to run a race with her!

As for knitting...I think I'm just all thumbs! But I'm determined to stick with it! I'll get it figured out eventually! I have a couple of good books and there's a yarn shop about an hour from where I live where I can take classes if I decide to. I love all the different patterns that you can make in the yarn with knitting. I think it is much more versatile than crochet in a lot of ways. Still, I do love to crochet and loom!

Have a great rest of the day! emoticon

Thank you for the warm welcome! Support makes a huge difference for me. I know having people on the same journey that I am on, facing the same basic issues helps.

The loss of my son was a huge blow! I have been through the home going of many loved ones, from grandparents, to parents, aunts, cousins and pastors; but the loss of my son was the hardest. Yes, as in each of them, God has been right there to help me and I can feel the prayers of my family and friends for God's help and strength to help me through. My son was very much like me, and we loved to have fun together. His favorite holidays were Thanksgiving and Christmas; as he loved being with his family and hanging out. That can make the holidays rough- but by the grace of God, we have made it through those again this year.

I have not tried knitting on a loom, yet. I am sure I will. I started with crochet, and yes with the one hook it is a good yard craft to begin on. I tried 4 times before I got knitting with the needles. I had to have my step-mother to help me. She was an amazing knitter! She used to say that the teacher had surpassed the teacher, in regards to my work; but I am not so sure.

My daughters both had their children before they got married; but I am grateful for my grandchildren! They are my joy, as are my daughters. I have the joy of seeing both of my grandchildren almost every day. I do look forward, though to them being able to be on their own, and only having the grandchildren to visit occasionally. emoticon

I have been working for a while on getting familiar with the web site and tomorrow, I plan to start tracking my foods. I am realizing that it seems they don't have foods from fast food in their list.

I do look forward to getting to know others on here, as we travel this journey to a healthy lifestyle!

Welcome, Mary Beth. I'm so glad you're here and reaching out for support! We all need that, don't we?

I'm sorry for the loss of your son. I can't even imagine how that has impacted your life.

I also like sewing. In addition to that I crochet and loom knit and am hoping to learn to knit. Knitting seems so much harder than crocheting!

I don't have any grandchildren yet, but my daughter and her husband have two dogs and my son has two dogs...so I have grand-dogs! Hopefully someday I'll know the joy of being a grandmother!

Congratulations on making the scarves! I made a few gifts this year, too!

I hope you enjoy SparkPeople as much as I do! There is so much here that is helping me on my journey.

God bless,

Lynda

My name is Mary Beth. I am brand new to SparkPeople and trying to reach out to others to be a support and to receive that support, as well.
I live in the South Eastern part of VA, I am 42 (going on 43). I have been happily married for 25 years, and am a mother and grandmother. I had 3 children, and just over 18 months ago our 22 year old son, passed away. I still have 2 daughters, each of them have 1 child.
My husband works full time, and is also the pastor at our church. I am back to being a stay at home wife/mother/grandmother. I have a long way to go on my journey to being healthier, I have been a member of Weight Watchers for just over a year, and I have lost some weight. However, our finances are causing us to cut our monthly expenses. I still need the support, but can't afford the WW for now.
I have always thoroughly enjoyed my hand crafts. I used to cross stitch, and I have enjoyed that; but I have changed to 2 different things now. I love to sew and I love to knit! I made 2 scarves (one for each daughter) for Christmas, and I am almost finished with a 3rd, and will make a 4th, I hope to finish them before the end of this month.
I would love to get to know you all and hope that we can work together to be an encouragement to each other on this journey to a healthier life style.
May God bless each of you!
Mary Beth

Hi Everyone! I'm Lynda and am new to this board, and pretty new to SparkPeople, too. I'm trying to get healthier after a rough second half of 2012 (DVT, surgery, car accident, cellulitis in my leg).

I'm also getting married in May and I'd love to look and feel fabulous for my wedding and honeymoon!

Before Christmas I got some Knifty Knitter looms and made several hats and scarves for Christmas gifts. I've also started crocheting. I'd love to learn to knit, but it seems that I'm all thumbs when it comes to that. I think I will need to get some instruction on both knitting an crocheting, but am very excited to be having so much fun with all of the yarn! Right know I'm crocheting a baby afghan for my friend's granddaughter who is expecting in June.

So glad to have found this group. I belong to the Shawl Ministry at my church and have been crocheting a blue and yellow baby afghan to donate. I made a dishcloth today to give my stepdaughter for Christmas. I can knit but I haven't in so long I am not sure I even remember how to cast on. The ladies at church will help me if I want to knit again. I am excited for our Christmas Eve service at church - two of my stepgrandkids are singing during the service and part of it will be candle lit. I'm 49, have 2 stepkids and 9 stepgrandkids and a wonderful husband. He says when I go to Shawl Ministry it is the best group therapy ever because I come home in such a good mood.

I have been on Spark for a year and have lost 40 lbs. Plus I got to go off of my diabetic medication and off of my prilosec. My lipitor has been cut in half so I have improved my health with eating better and exercising.

Have a Merry Christmas!

Debbie

Hi everyone!

My name is Marie Anne, I'm 55 and have been crocheting for probably 20 yrs or so. I learned the basic crochet stitches as a child, but never did much with it because both my sister and aunt used thread to make the most beautiful intricate pieces and I couldn't do it, so I gave up. It wasn't until years later that I used the simple stitches I'd learned to make items with yarn, which I find much easier to work with.

I still don't do anything too fancy, mostly simple afghans, baby blankets and dishcloths, but I enjoy it and the recipients of my works seem to also, so I keep at it. I crochet mostly while watching TV, but also bring a tote with me whenever I know I'm going to be sitting somewhere (Dr office, DMV, on a road trip when someone else is driving, etc). I can't stand to sit and do nothing!

Glad to be here with fellow Christian hookers! (LOL .. that sounds funny, doesn't it?)

Blessings,

Marie Anne

Hi. my name is Pam and I am a knitter. I love to knit as it keeps both hands busy and off food

Everybody tells me that they would love to knit, but they don't have time. I look at people's lives and I can see opportunity and time for knitting all over the place. The time spent riding the bus each day? That's a pair of socks over a month. Waiting in line? Mittens. Watching TV? Buckets of wasted time that could be an exquisite lace shawl. ~Stephanie Pearl-McPhee, At Knit's End: Meditations for Women Who Knit Too Much A true friend reaches for your hand but touches your hea

I go by Honouria, even though the ID is Minnerrva. I am a crocheter, and right now I have 3 projects going: afghan (for me. Ripple stitch), lace glove (also for me), and an Aran crochet wool sweater for my husband. Stopping by to say hi.

Hello, I love to crochet, though I don't always get to...life is busy. When I pick my needle back up, I tend to hurry through my to-do list and give myself crochet time as a reward. I have to be careful, because it can consume my day.

Hello,
I am Brenda, a single Christian woman living in Colorado. I work in the field of Education. I knit and crochet both.

I am Christian first, but I do attend a large Presbyterian church and I'm a member of that church. I sing in my church's choir as well every Sunday.

I love the Lord!

Welcome, Janice, Ann, Mary Gretchen, and Kathy!

Mary, I think I'm ready to start the 10,000 step challenge again (see our Challenge forum). I just need to get another pedometer since my last one broke. Maybe that challenge would be the trick to get you motivated too. emoticon

Hello, My name is Kathy and I would like to join the SparkTeam. I am a Christian and I love doing crafts. I do cross-stitch, knitting, and want to learn crochet and quilting and other crafts (if I find the time). I am still trying to figure out how to do things on SprakPeople. I live in Boulder, CO and today finally got shoveled out from our snow storm, 16.5 in.

Hi, my name is Janice. I love to do many crafts such as quilting, crochet, knitting, cross-stitch, sewing, but I never have the time to do them. But I enrolled myself in the challenge of stitching at least 15 min. 3 times per week. Hope I can do more.

Nice to meet you, Joy. I am Joyce also an RN. I work 3-11 since my kids are grown. My Hubby is disabled so he adapts to my schedule.
I am a Quilter...although haven't done anything recently (depression will do that). But am doing the exercise, tracking water, 6 freggies (fruits/veggies) a day and being active on SP.

HI! I'm Joy and I'm a Christian, wife and mother first and foremost. Then there is my knitting obsession. I have long ago achieved SABLE and I'm still adding to it. I joined spark a couple years ago but wasn't in a frame of mind to do what was necessary to lose weight so it fell by the wayside (funny, not the knitting though...)

So my Best Friend has been doing spark and losing weight and feeling good and really achieving, and being an inspiration to me to get back to business. I really need to lose almost130 pounds when it's all said and done...but I'll be really happy to meet the first goal of 37 pounds right now....

My Dad mentioned something to me that really hit me...right now I financially support my family of 4 by being an RN, he told me to think about what will happen if something happens to my health because of my weight that causes me to not be able to work...we couldn't make it on short term disability! I've been mulling this around for a while and got back into a good frame of mind where I am determined to do what I need to do to make permanent changes in my life resulting in weight loss.

So that's me...Joy Linn. I love the Lord, I love my family, and I love knitting! Oh and my BFF taught me to spin too...and I stilll sew once in a while...I used to cross stitch until my eyesight game me headaches...Anyhow...that's about all there is!

Hello, hello, hello! I've been on SP a while but I've been away from it. Now I'm back. I joined this group because it seems to incorporate all kinds of needle work. I crochet, knit, and cross stitch, although I've gotten away from the cross stitch until I get my new glasses. It's hard with bifocals! I started to make a quilted cover for my sewing machine but go distracted, then my sewing table turned into another flat surface. (I have a very small apartment and NO storage.) I'd like to learn to tat, although I really don't need another project pile, and I don't need anymore patterns, although that doesn't stop me from collecting them. I currently have a teddy bear on my hook, a sock on my needles, and wips are a crochet afghan, and a knitted sweater that I may undo and with a different yarn. I also have a Teresa Wenztel cross stitch dragon that's tucked away waiting for my to get my stitching station set up again.

Hi, I just joined a few days ago and was invited to join you all! emoticon
I love to sew, mainly clothing, crochet, Viking Wire Knitting, and several other crafty things.... I never did quite get comfy with knitting, although my sisters both knit a lot, one by hand the other by knitting machine. So I am blessed with beautiful wool socks knitted by them They keep both my feet and my heart warm! emoticon
I am on SP because me Dr told me to! I need to loose weight and since I am eating very healthily already, portion control is the last thing left. I have found that tracking is really helping and I'm not really hungry! Even though I started tracking nearly kicking and screaming! (Well, inside, anyway!) But I have found it does really help, so we will see what happens! I've never been much of a dieter.....say the word "diet" and I seem to automatically gain weight! My focus is exercising more and portion control and to continue to eat super healthy foods in the right proportions.
Whew! emoticon

Hello! I'm Marie....I've been away from Spark People for 18 months and sure have missed being here. I dropped out of most the teams I was on - they were just too big. So glad to find this team where folks can get to know each other.

I'm a mom to two girls 20 & 22 and grandmommy to Paisley who is 1...she lives with us and keeps me young!

12 months ago my husband had open heart surgery and suffered a stroke during the procedure - he's only 52. Four weeks to the day Paisley was born and came to live with us! So our new normal is I'm the bread winner and he is the "Stay at Home Dad and Poppy". He's physically fit, just can't remember a darn thing he did 10 minutes ago! We're grateful he's healthy again and is able to babysit Paisley the 1/2 day my daughter needs him to. I'm thankful he doesn't mind doing wash and dishes! Oh, and our yard has never been more beautiful!

I'm a crosstitcher and knitter - though I haven't done much of either since DH's surgery and the birth of Paisley...but I aim to change that! I've been able to add a seating area to our guestroom so I can have my stitching out and Paisley won't get into it!

Looking forward to meeting everyone here...

emoticon Hello to my new team. I am extremely excited to have found this team since it is about 3 of the things I am passionate about; Christ Jesus, my crafts, and trying to lose all this weight I let myself gain.

I travel alot and don't have all my crafts with me, but I can do several of these crafts to some degree, including: Crochet, counted crosstitch, knit, needle tatting, needlepoint, and latchhook which I'm doing next. I recently tried plastic canvas and think it's ok.

I come from a Christian household and my dad is a minister since before I was born. Thank God that my parents, sister, brother, husband, children, mother and father in laws are in church and my father in law is a deacon. I am very very blessed. I just started sparkpeople on April 28 and have lost 9.6 lbs. I have quite a ways to go, but I know with His help I can do this! emoticon emoticon

I'm Ashton, a new knitter at 23. My newest project is basket weave scarf and also a blanket. I would love ideas and also pointers on making things better. My church Sojourn in Kentucky has a knitting class, i adore this time with the girls and would recommend this for any church to start up. i am also 3 weeks in on hot yoga, the first time I took this class i thought i would die. Today will be my 8th class and I'm greatly improving still that heat is hard to deal with but boy do i love the cool winter after the class : ). I look forward to growing in my craft and also feeling healthy at the same time.

My name is Becky and I live in Florida with my husband and 5 kitties. A couple of years ago I learned to knit.....and knitting has become my "stress reliever". I also crochet, quilt, and cross-stitch.....but for some reason knitting is my all time favorite. My knitting projects have been a couple of baby blankets, a child's sweater, and I am now working on a scarf. I look forward to being part of this group and learning more about "our crafts" while reaching our weight loss goals.

Hey All! My name is Chelsea, and I hail from the Great White North (Canada). I'm 26-years old, and I love knitting, crocheting, counted cross-stitch, and I'm willing to try anything else! :)

My journey with the Lord started in 2003 when I gave my heart to Him. I currently work with the Salvation Army as a Community Ministries Coordinator, working with our food bank, children's outreach and more.

My first love is music. I play anything I can get my hands on, but currently piano, guitar, and drums.

My weight loss journey has been an on-and-off journey, but this year, I'm getting serious about my health, and so I have joined an awesome weight loss program here at home with one-on-one counselling. I'm excited about embarking on this new adventure!

I'm a pretty open book, so if you want to know more about me, feel free to ask! :)

I just joined the group. I love to embroider, x-stitch (mostly pre-printed ones), plastic canvas, quilt and whatever else I dabble in.

I've been working on my UFO's for a while (UnFinished Objects..) as I have a bag of things I once started and never finished. I just finished a beautiful Asian piece and a sampler, and now am going to start a sailboat stitching project (after a trip to Joanne's since I'm changing it from yarn to DMC floss.)

I'm in WI, I'm 40, I have 2 kids, 3 poodles, a husband (for now), and I sell insurance for a living. Crafting keeps me sane. I've been crafting a lot lately as it's winter here and we're all stuck in the house because it's dark at 4pm. I normally craft while watching tv.

I have a craftingwithsandra.com website I run. Also I'm on facebook if anyone is interested in finding me to chat. (sandraspeaks will find me on facebook too).

Hello, BLOODFAMILY! Welcome to the team! I haven't attempted knitting sweaters for my family yet. I've been going hat crazy and knitting hats for everyone, though!

Hello crafters! I've been a member of spark people for a while, but not really actively. My goal is to start tracking my health goals on here, and maybe make some new friends in the process. I love all things crafty and can do most of them successfully. I'm currently working on knitting an aran sweater for my smallish boy. I have 2 sons and a husband. As far as fitness goals, I need to lose 46 pounds to hit my long term goal weight. I'm currently aiming for 10 pounds less.

JIMNYSGRL and Cheryl, emoticon I'm so glad you have both joined the team. Please jump in anywhere because we love the chatter. emoticon

Also, don't worry about being a returning dropout. I've dropped out way more times than I can count. The good news is that we get back up and try again. emoticon

New to this team. Do all sorts of needlework - knitting, crochet, quilting... Have channeled my OCD into working with fabric and yarn. Unfortunately I'm also obsessed with eating. Am trying to rectify that - but i really like food LOL. Just stopped in to say 'hi'. Hope to chat with y'all soon.

Peace,
Cheryl

Hi! Ne to this Team and returning spark dropout. emoticon I love yarn and crocheting. I did however learn to knit this year so that was fun. God is my source of strength - it's been a tough year for my family like so many people across the country in this economy. But all is well.. and I have yarn to run between my fingers and a crochet hook in my hand, that acts as my therapy. Just wanted to say hello.

Hi Welcome to the group. I also love to crochet. I've done some quilting, cross stitching, latch hook, and plastic canvas. I taught myself to knit 2 years ago and am now teaching myself to knit socks.
I run a small library in SW Georgia so I also have a job that is mostly sedate so I know how you feel there. Good thing you have a trail you can walk.

Hello, Jacque! emoticon What project are you working on now? I mainly crochet and knit, but I want to try cross stitching too. I haven't sewn since high school, but I've been thinking of going back to it as I'm having such a difficult time finding clothes I like. I've probably forgotten all my sewing skills though!

Hello all. I just joined this group today. My name is Jacque. I am from York Nebraska. I crochet mostly but also do cross stitch and make melt and pour soap and candles. I want to leatn sewing, quilting, scrapbooking, and beading.

I work overnights in a group home for troubled boys so am not real active. I have joined a gym and can walk on the trail next to the creek in the summer. I have a five year old son who has ADHD and sensory integration problems. I have been married for 16 years.

Let me know if there is anything else you would like to know that is not here or on my page. I am usually willing to answer most questions about myself.

Hi everyone. I have been hanging around Sparkpeople for about a year now, and I just found this team a few days ago. I've posted on a couple of topics, and I forgot to introduce myself properly.:) I didn't do much with this site for the summer, and of course the weight crept up, and so now I hope that some involvement and some consistency will help. I'm a knitter/crocheter, mostly anyway. I have done some sewing in the past, but I have some serious vision issues, and I just need too much help with patterns to make this practical right now. I just ordered a kit for this kit-of-the-month site for crochet-knitting, and even though it is more expensive than it should be, I'm excited to get a project to work on regularly. I'll let you know when the first one comes in, and what the project is--I have no idea what it is right now.:) I just think working on anything will keep my hands busy so I don't eat.:)
I also love the Lord with all my heart, so I'm looking forward to fellowship as well.
God bless.
Joyce

Hi, I'm Jean aka Jeanut and I love to crochet and knit. I am 49yrs old, very over wt. and want to loose about 100lbs. I run a small library in SW Georgia. I started crocheting at a young age and taught myself to knit about 2 1/5 years ago. At the moment I'm trying to teach myself to knit socks. I have bad joint pains at time so exercise can be hard but I'm not going to give up. I have a rule that if I don't exercise at least with my arms I don't get computer or craft time. Oh and I almost forgot I love exercising using Wii fit and EA Sports Personal Trainer.

I'm in the process of knitting socks for our 8 Grandchildren. 1 pair done and delivered. Seven more to go, and a couple of those boys have BIG feet (men's size 13 shoe)!!!
I also am spinning "rag" (one ply each black & white wool) yard to make myself a sweater & matching knee socks. I like to spin when the TV is on in the evening.
I've bought the yarn to make sweaters for a couple coming birthdays (one's in 3 weeks), so I need to finish this pair of socks and start knitting some sweaters!
