If I had a dime (heck! if I had a penny) for every time I have started and re-started and re-started again my diet, not only could I retire today, but my kids would never have to work a day in their life, nor would their kids or their kids' kids! As of this morning, I am 9 pounds away from 200 pounds!!! For someone who is only 5 feet tall...this is NOT a good thing to be! My feet hurt all the time, I work in an office so I sit for at a desk for "long periods" at a time and when I get up I hurt all over, I'm tired all the time, and I know it's because I'm why can't I stick to a diet and why can't I make myself exercise? It would be so simple! There are only a kazillion "meal plans" out there so I wouldn't even have to count calories, fat grams or's already done for me...and all I'd have to do is walk for 30 minutes at lunch each day or walk to the bus stop in the morning and home in the evening instead of driving in to work and parking half a block away from my office. I can't use the excuse that I have no support cause my fiance and my best friends (who are more like my sisters than "friends") are totally behind me in this "small venture" Am I just plan lazy or what?

Other than the obvious, I do have some good incentive for losing AT LEAST 70 pounds summer my fiance and another couple (one of those "sisters" I mentioned before and her husband) are going to her condo in Key West for a week AND I refuse to get married until I can fit into a single number sized wedding dress and still be able to breath comfortably! Not to mention the fact that my kids are all totally skinny and active and gorgeous! (not that I'm biased or anything) I want them to be as proud of me as I am of them!

So that's my story in a nutshell...I've got the basics...I know what I need to do...I'm just going to need A LOT of help sticking to the plan and staying on track. Any suggestions on how to stay motivated and not get discouraged would be most appreciated! :)
