Hello. I was thinking the other day how cool it would be if I could find a web community to support me in my weight loss and fitness goals. Like MySpace, but for getting healthy. I did a web search, and here I am! Love the idea! Can't wait to make new friends. I am 32, a single mom of 2 great kids. I am very busy, as I just finished grad school and now work at my first Master's level job. I was a very skinny little girl who was encouraged to eat a lot and never taught how to be healthy. When I hit puberty, BAM. I started putting on weight and have never stopped. I once lost 40 pounds on a low fat, low calorie diet, but regained it when my hypogycemia reared it's ugly head. My main focus is being healthy and active. I know I am unhealthy at my weight, and I want to change that. Currently I try to avoid fast food (my BIG weakness) and run/walk a mile in the park each day. I want to eat healthier, exercise more, and get more sleep.
