Hi, I finally got comfortable enough with the site to look around some more and check out the groups I joined.

I'm 32, 5'9", and two and a half years ago I was 267lbs. Through dramatically changing my diet (cutting out junk food, sodas, white and sugary carbs, increasing water, only whole grains, tons of veggies) I lost 80lbs in about a year and a half. I put 35 back on REALLY fast a year ago when my ex-husband left. I almost fell through the floor in January when I bought a scale and saw how much I'd gained back.

I started exercising in little ways here and there working on eating habits. March was when I really jumped on the exercise wagon. Since then I've been trying new things and increasing to where I work out every day, even twenty minutes in the morning. I swim with a coach three times a week, I do Yoga Booty Ballet, horsebackriding, walk on the beach, and just started belly dancing.

I also began calorie balancing a few months ago, have done a tone of nutritional study. I am a strict vegetarian every other week ("dietary vegan", no animal protein at all), that helps me flex my willpower muscles.

So far I have almost taken back off what I put on last fall, though the scale is higher - I have put on a TONS of muscle. My goal is to be 165lbs which should put me in a size 6. I've never been a size 6 in my life... I'm a 12, almost a 10 now, and I haven't been a 10 (except for a month or two last fall) since I was a freshman in high school!

I am enjoying my new healthier lifestyle that includes mostly organic foods, vitamins, water increase, and all the new forms of exercise.

I look forward to getting to know people and help each other out on this journey!
