Welcome to Sparks, I can sympathize with you and your story, as I did the same thing. The doctor and I really watched my weight while I was pregnant and the day I had Ryan I lost 25 lbs, he was almost 9 lbs and I was full of fluid.

However, in a year or more after he was born I went from 225 to 290's, and struggled for many years, down 20 lbs, up 20 lbs or more. I reached 305 lbs before I started to do something. I am presently at my weight I was when I delivered Ryan, and he is 28 years old.

You are only young, and it is much easier to get it off now than to wait as long as I did. Sparks has so many tools to help you reach your goals.

I'm here if you have any questions, spark mail me, or drop by our Chat Thread and post it.

Good luck to you.

Hello all!

I am a single mom with a 2yr. old daughter.
When I was pregnant everyone told me not to worry about gaining weight
because baby weight just falls right off ...boy were they wrong.
That may be true for a few lucky women out there, but that wasn't
what happened to me! For the last two years I have not been able to shed any of my baby weight.
I gained almost 100lbs. I am very tired of being overweight and not being able to go to the playground and
chase my toddler around without feeling like I can't breath and I need to sit down after a couple minutes! I am looking forward to learning how to live a healthy lifestyle.

I have tried dieting so many times and every time I have failed.
I believe it's because I don't have a support system.
So I am looking for support from great people and I am looking forward to giving support back and
helping others!! :)

Good luck to everyone!!! :]]
