I was introduced to this web site by a wonderful co-worker who is also dealing with the day to day struggle to loose these pounds!

I'm 33, married as a size 7 (when I was 19)and currently at a size 22. This change was not overnight and I know that to loose this weight will not be overnight either. I've always had weight issues, but seemed to be under control when I married...obviously I didn't think that married life would mean letting myself go. Which I did unconsciously. Weight lose for me now is a serious health issue, not just "how I look". It's a day to day battle and we need to stay focused (not as easily done as said)and positive!

I've gone from 252 to 238 since 08/2009, but this is just the beginning and according to my Dr. she wants me at 125...so there's a long way to go. I joined Curves last year and lost 25 pounds in 5 months, which returned during the holidays (as Curves and salads were abandoned)...

I'm eating healthier again, small meals during the day, weighing myself daily and exercising (at least trying to every day)...M-F

My main issue right now is...the weekend... my calorie intake goes off the roof and I gain whatever I've lost. So I can be 238 Friday and by Monday I'm 245. No exercise during the weekend b/c every waking minute is spent with my loving and tired husband who is the center of my world, and my willpower goes out the window and there I am ...eating whatever he eats, doing chores and resting (instead of exercising and eating as I do during the week).

I'm still discovering SP and I'm anxious to join any group challenges...though my water intake is another issue...

I'm happy to be included in this group and wish us all willpower, positive thoughts and achievements!!!!
