THEGINSTER - We all know that feeling of our reflection staring back at us! Do be careful limiting your carb intake. With increased physical activity you are going to need the energy from those! Try making healthy carb choices.. potatoes with skin, brown rice, wheat pasta and whole grain bread!! My suggestion for the loose skin is lose slowly.. the skin will retract naturally!! Best of luck!

I am tired of going to buy clothes, looking in the mirror & seeing the "buldges" that ruin everything.....I come home with shoes. I recently broke my left foot & have not been able to walk, but even when I was walking, I was just walking 30 minutes a day althought it was brisk. My plan is to watch the food intake (no potatoes, no bread no pasta, more fresh veggies & fruit & keep it simple until my foot heals, then start walking more (maybe at lunch time if I can extend my lunch to an hour) I might walk for 15 minutes then eat my lunch the other 15 minutes if I'm really organized. I'm 66 y.o. & I'm afraid of "loose skin" making me look even older. Anyone out there have some tips about preventing this? I'm going to confide in my neice, who recently lost weight with her husband & has made some progress. Is once a day too much contact?
