Lou, there are all kinds of challenge teams out there. My current favorite is one called QuickFire Challenge. The leaders post a different exercise every day for us to work on doing broken up into segments throughout our day. Some days we work lower body, some days upper, and some we do core or cardio. The challenge is just to do what you can do each day. And you can either post expectations and results on the daily discussion thread or not, as you choose. Here's the link to the team page if you'd like to check it out:

Well, this link won't work. Let me try an interior team page instead:

This one works, and you can back up to the team main page from the top of this one. Have fun and good luck!

There are virtual challenges that might work for you. I know there is a healthy cooking challenge that might work. Good luck and nice to meet you.

Hey Wanda, thanks for the advice. I will make it so other people can see my food tracker (it's hidden at the moment). I do eat well most of the time, but my exercise has dropped right down recently, and my worst vice is wine! This is definitely something that I need to cut down on!

I am feeling very positive now though, especially following the response that I have received from other Sparks. It makes me feel warm inside ;)

Good Morning you came to the right place. I would start off by eating healthy good clean food. Make sure you eat a great breakfast to jumpstanrt your metabolism. I tried to look at your tracker but there was nothing to see. Log in all your food, that will help you see what and how much you are eating. If you don't like meal planning sparks will even create one for you. There is also a ton of exercises you can do despite your injury. Just look through them and create a plan. Good luck with your goals. Remember losing the weight is fairly easy, its the maintaining and keeping it off which is harder. That is why its good to make a life syle change. Lotsa luck, hugs, Wanda

Hello all,

I have been following Spark, with varying success, since July and have lost 5lb - not quite the result I was hoping for, but an injury has plagued my progress. I am still not healed, but have to continue with some more exercise, and I am now looking to loose 10lb in the next two months, which I think is a reasonable target.
To help me though, I am looking to take part in a challenge along with other people. I have seen the Spark America website, but I am from the UK and so think something else might be more appropriate.

Any advice and encouragement would be very welcome, as would comments from people who have managed to lose lots of weight and get fit.

thanks
Lou
