Carol - me too! I'm 54, and signed up for the Princess Half in February! What on earth was I thinking!? I guess I was thinking, "Oh, gee, the grandbabies will love watching Gigi cross the finish line in her tiara and cape!" Now, it dawns on me that this is 13.1 miles! Argh! I'm hoping they watch me cross the line vertically :) I'm in Michigan, and I try to get out EARLY to beat the heat. Good luck!

Hi everyone. I'm Carol. I am using the Galloway method to become a runner. I am one of those people who said I will never ever run unless my life depends on it. Well my best friend has inspired me to to change that. I am signed up for the Run Disney Princess 1/2 marathon at Disney World next February. I have been using the lolo easy 5k app. I am trying to be patient with myself and not think that my body can do this over night. I was at the 1 min/ 1 min pace but it is super hot in Alabama so I cut it back to 30/30 and I don't wear out so fast. Hope this wasn't too much info. :)
