If you're not having fun, then why run?

You don't get to choose how you're going to die, or when. You can only decide how you're going to live. Now.

Iíve been using the run/walk method for over 25 years, long before I ever knew about Jeff Galloway. I began more gradually than anyone else. It was 30 seconds run & 4:30 walk, repeated until 30 minutes. I added only 15 seconds to the run interval each week, decreasing the walk part accordingly.

It took me 6 months to work up to a 5k, but I did it happily and uninjured.

I've been run/walking every since. Currently I walk about 1 minute for every mile or every .75 miles for longer distances. I see some familiar names on the member list. I think I belong here too.

The race is not always to the swift, but to those who keep on running.
