Hi Ann,

I'm a fellow Buckeye also training for a half this spring. Hope the Achilles hangs in there. Good luck to you and your running ;-).

Hi Ann, I know how that ruptured achilles feels, such a long recovery too. Mine was a few years ago and I still feel stiffness in it now. My running has not been frequent enough lately, I have a new schedule at work and it is taking a while to get used to the new hours and adjusting my routine. Good to hear from you again, happy running!!

I'm back! Ruptured my Achilles Tendon late 2012 and couldn't really start running until Jan 2013.... I got out of the habit of being on SP due to my layoff...but really have started back run/walk in earnest.

I ran a 5K (First on First) 1/1/14 in 32:56 with which I was pleased. I am going to run a 10K in March and a 15K in April as part of training for a Half in May. Depending on how that goes, I may sign up for a full in October. Would really like to try a full but not sure how well the Achilles will hold up. My run schedule is every other day...with cross training on off days.

Love this group!

Ann
