Welcome Frog. Stick with it and you will make it happen.

well Hi and welcome. sounds like you have a great plan, although I think 1500 is a little to low, but stay at it and good luck

Hey Guys,

My name is David (but everyone calls me Frog). I've been heavy set for a long time and for the last few years, I've grown complacent with my physical health.

My first born child (Jocelyn) was born to my wife and I about a month ago. So, I decided to join SparkPeople and start my diet and exercise routine, for my daughters sake if not only for my own.

Thus far, I am a week into my routine of 1500 calories per day, 3 weekly strength trainings and one hour of daily cardio... I have already lost 8 pounds and am looking forward to making to my target weight goal of 200 lbs, where I started 270. My goal date is January 8, 2012.

Looking forward to future interactions with all of you and I wish you all the best of luck with your goals as well. ^_^

(Click below to see a photo of me at the start of my training... I will periodically update it to reflect my progress.)
