Well Big G, this is what I know. One of the most important things you can do is track what you eat. You can either use the tracker here which is pretty good or even just write it down on a piece of paper. This will do two things for you. One, it will show things/places where maybe you can cut back consumption. Two, if you not losing weight, and you've been honest with your tracker, it will show why.

As far as the motivation, what kind of motivation works for you? Do you like a pat on the back, or a kick in the ass? You can probably find either in the teams here, just spend some time searching. One thing that helps me is the daily Health Reflections email I signed up for. I recommend it. Good Luck!

Hi this is Big G and I need to lose more weight. Would like to get tips and motivational support from a group. I have limited exercise capacity due to long standing back surgeries and pain. Are there any suggestions for me?
