I'm not very athletic either, but I have found a few things that I like. My husband and I recently got snow shoes, so that is our "sport" of choice in the winter now. Such fun! I even went today, with my broken wrist in a cast and everything!

I know others who like cross-country skiing, bowling, speed walking, square dancing, salsa dancing, etc. Good luck finding something that you like, everyone!

What if we woke up tomorrow with only those things that we thanked God for today?

I can relate - particularly in winter! -- I just looked at some T'ai Chi 'beggining classes' on you tube and am considering using that for a morning 'workout'. Ha - what a wimp eh? Seems like in winter its all too much of a bother -- but that could be doable.

There are some wonderful workouts at the mall mornings led by a U of M staffer -- but I hate the drive to the mall early mornings.... so this plan seems possible. Just basic 'movement' routine... in spring summer fall I'll easily do the outside long walks at the park ... but winter... wow, it just gets tough!

Welcome PIANOLADY30! I have been the same way too. As a matter of fact, I am just learning how to exercise with a glider. Have you purchase THE SPARK book? 10 minutes a day of exercising is a good way to start making it a habit. I think we learn on this journey together what fits our lifestyle as far as exercise. I have seen people who started out dreading exercise and then signs themselves up for 5k because they enjoy the challenge and exercise now. We can figure this out together!

Hi, my name is Lea. Iíve been struggling with my weight for many years now, so Iím looking forward to having support and help with this journey. One of my biggest struggles is that Iím not an athletic person in any way. Iíd much rather do crafts or read and Iíve pretty much always been that way. I do like to ride my bicycle, but that is seasonal, especially since my asthma kicks up in extreme hot or cold weather.
