You did it once so you know you can do it. I found that I have to want to do the right things. Hubby's mom was ill for 18 months so we were funning back and forth every other weekend on a 5 hour trip up and 5 home. Hubby had dropped 56 pounds the first of last year, so I was happy were I was. I was eating with him on his program and it dropped my belly weight which I had not been able to do on my program. His program was extreme. No carbs, no dairy, etc. He and Miss Coco could eat a block of cheese in a week just snacking. He was on healthy veggies, good protein and fresh fruits. During the 18 months when we went to the country it was all the foods we did not eat often. Fried chicken, fried pork chops, potatoes, etc.

After he lost so much and I lost my felly fat we could introduce the foods back into our program. I limit the carbs, potatoes, rice and pasta to once a week, If we have potatoes this week, we may have pasta next week and rice the following. We do have bread more often, but this has helped us stay were we are.
When we learned to eat healthier, we found that we like it. There is always fruit in the fridge for snacking, air pop corn, We find that we often enjoy somethings heavy and off the list as a treat. We have our favorite hamburger joint with big fat hamburgers, cheese and wonderful fries, This is a treat about once a month. A treat for us

You will get back into the routine of eating good foods, limiting the treats and getting on the band wagon with your exercise routine.

Hi! I'm excited to get started (again!). I lost 50 pounds in 2010 and kept it off for 6 years. My 40s decade was the healthiest time of my whole life. But two years ago a husband health crisis (he's fine!) and a change in job completely derailed me and now I need to lose 60! I'm having a harder time getting motivated this time around, so I thought a group would be helpful. Thanks all!
