Hello, all!
I am a 57 year old mother of six, and grandmother of 18. I have been struggling with my weight since the age of 15, always gaining and loosing the same 20 or so pounds. For the past 5 years my husband and I have been vegans. This helped me initially with my weight, but then the binges started again during times of stress and crisis, and the weight came back. Only this time, it was harder to lose it again, even on the vegan diet. I started running at age 40, and fell in love with it. Running also helped me keep my weight down, but I kept getting injuries and getting sidelined. My latest problem is Plantar Facsitis. I have been plagued by this condition since about December 2015. I haven't been able to either run or walk. I am now at an all time high of 149.4 lb. Which is a lot for my 5'3" frame. I need to do something NOW!
