Good news: after about 5 weeks of this "program"/method, I've lost 8 lbs.! The crazy thing is that the scale has not moved DOWN for over 3 yrs!
emoticon 12 lbs more to lose by Christmas!

I'll be targeting a 10% loss of weight by Christmas...as a gift of better health to me! (That's 20#'s!)

Along with this goal, I'm working with intermittent fasting and moving towards longer fasts for the purpose of balancing out insulin.

And, everything I'm reading indicates that I need to change my "set point." By doing so, AND maintaining this for 6 months after achieving the loss, I can reset again & again...until I get to goal weight.

I am renewing my dedication to Sparkpeople again as I find I desire a network of peeps going thru what I am...being over 50 & female! I am working diligently to decrease the pain of Arthritus with water exercise 4 days a week. Today I am researching Anti-inflammatory diets per my Dr & Chiropractors advice. Anyone find success in that food lifestyle? I am open to helpful hints! My current Mantra is: Work for Strong, not Skinny! Glad to be a part of this Team!
